Out of the blue, just a few hours ago, the Nintendo team revealed a Direct for tomorrow. This announcement surprised many, given the upcoming Direct dedicated to Switch 2 on April 2, 2025. An additional Direct will be available on:
- March 27, 2025, at 7:00 AM PT / 10:00 AM ET / 3:00 PM CET
The showcase will last about 30 minutes and will reveal upcoming games. But as Nintendo emphasized, this Direct will be strictly focused on games, with no mention of Nintendo Switch 2. The broadcast can be comfortably followed on Nintendo’s YouTube channel.

Nintendo Direct March 27: What Games Can We Expect?
As mentioned, we will have a brief 30-minute Direct focused on upcoming games for Nintendo Switch. However, it’s unclear if we will see any cross-generation titles. Particularly, some games that many fans would love to see alongside Switch 2.
Among those, the game many are hoping to see is Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. The eagerly awaited new chapter in the famous series starring Samus Aran. With a big return for the Prime series and the famous teaser shown in November 2024. Also, some upcoming titles such as Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which will take us back to Lumiose City, and third-party games like FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time and Dragon Quest I and II HD-2D Remake!
