Civilization VI (also known as Civ VI or Civ 6) is a game known as a 4X type game, where 4X stands for “eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate”. The Civilization series and most other 4x games are played turn by turn, and were mostly created back in 1990. They usually feature both single player and multiplayer campaigns, both often lengthy and polished.

The Civilization concept is about managing a country or empire through various ages, and succeeding in various areas like economy, politics, diplomaty, technology, etc. These type of games are very deep with multiple little details too, like citizen’s happiness, culture development, art, or war.
