Todd Howard stated that he wants to bring the old charm of Oblivion into the modern era. The goal is to bring the nostalgia and the game from back then into a new time and enhance it with modern features. The graphics have also been taken to a new level, surpassing even The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It was described as Oblivion in its complete form.
