The Talos Principle: Reawakened is the remaster of the beloved first chapter in Croteam’s series. This remaster arrives over 10 years after the original game’s release on PC on December 11, 2014.
Offering a significant graphical leap, bringing the original experience closer to the 2023 sequel. Announced in December 2024, this remaster will provide the definitive experience of the first The Talos Principle on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in 2025!
The Talos Principle: Reawakened – Release Date Announced
Croteam decided to take advantage of Steam Next Fest to finally announce the release date of The Talos Principle: Reawakened. On February 24, 2025, they revealed that the Remastered version of the first chapter will be available on April 10, 2025. It will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Offering a generational graphical leap, moving from the original Serious Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5. Already adopted by the team for the second chapter. Additionally, we will get a complete package that includes the DLC Road to Gehenna, as well as the new chapter In the Beginning, and the announcement of a Demo to try.
The Talos Principle: Reawakened – Try the Demo on Steam and Create Your Own Levels
Croteam has made a playable Demo available, allowing us to admire the new graphical overhaul the team has implemented with Reawakened. Also benefiting from some QoL improvements. But that’s not all, because the team has also included the Puzzle Editor.
A robust Level Editor, integrated with the game’s full Steam Workshop, allowing fans to create their own levels. Choose between a Roman, Egyptian, Medieval, or Alpine setting. Also announcing the Elohim Challenge, a community-style puzzle-jam contest. Detailed information will be available on February 27, 2025.

In Conclusion
Reawakened is certainly a Remaster that many did not expect, but it also brings some new features. In fact, in addition to improved graphics, we will be able to play a new chapter.
