Capcom has released the official Street Fighter 6 Ed gameplay trailer and announced the Street Fighter 5 boxer will join the fighting game’s roster on February 27.

Capcom’s description of Ed for Street Fighter 6 is that he’s “A Psycho Power-wielding youth aged up rapidly by Shadaloo’s experimentation, on a journey and a mission to free other subjects. He gets his short temper and foul mouth from Balrog, his former mentor.”

Ed comes into Street Fighter 6 as the 21st playable character with an updated design and refreshed moveset that features zero kicks, as Capcom turn him into an out-and-out boxer to better match his background.

Ed’s Moves:

  • Psycho Flicker: A quick jab that can be performed in three directions to create and control space.
  • Psycho Blitz: A powerful series of punches.
  • Psycho Storm: Level 1 Super Art where Ed performs fast flicker jabs.
  • Psycho Cannon: Level 2 Super Art with Ed unleashing a ball of pyscho power towards his opponent.
  • Psycho Chamber: Level 3 Super Art that sees Ed pummel his opponents into submission.
