Star Wars Outlaws: Wild Card is the new DLC coming to Ubisoft’s open-world action-adventure game. The Wild Card DLC will add a new story quest, which sees protagonist Kay Vess face-off against fellow scoundrel Lando Calrissian in a high-stakes Sabacc tournament. Wild Card is the first story DLC for Star Wars Outlaws, and it comes on November 21 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Released in August 2024, Star Wars Outlaws has not quite performed as well as Ubisoft wanted. The developer and publisher recently admitted the game has underperformed despite decent sales across all platforms and a Metacritic score of 76. Ubisoft will now launch the game and DLC on Steam as part of a new strategy on November 21.
Wild Card is the first story pack for Star Wars Outlaws in a post-launch season pass roadmap that includes two cosmetic bundles and a second story pack titled “A Pirate’s Fortune.” Owners of the season pass will receive the Hunter’s Legacy and Cartel Ronin bundles along with the Wild Card DLC. The two bundles include new outfits and cosmetics for Kay, Nix, and Kay’s speeder and ship.
Ubisoft has shifted its strategy and will now release all future games on Steam from day one. Star Wars Outlaws is the first of its new games to come to Valve’s storefront.
