Berlin-based developers, Elysium Game Studio, have announced Shadow of Conspiracy: Section 2, a narrative-driven RPG set in 2087 Berlin.

Shadow of Conspiracy: Section 2 thrusts you into a deep, cinematic detective thriller as you take on the role of Nolan, an elite cop with a problematic past.
The story sees Nolan investigate the murder of a police chief while he deals with themes such as betrayal, love, and guilt.
It’s an emotional story set in a dystopian Berlin in 2087, where the citizens are controlled and mistreated with corruption and cyberization.
Berlin and the characters you meet look stunning, thanks to the early decision by Elysium Game Studios to use Unreal Engine 5.
That decision means that you can expect a next-generation experience and photorealistic characters.
GAMEPLAY FEATURES
The official gameplay trailer shown at gamescom 2021 shows a mixture of first and third-person combat and puzzle-solving within a devastated world.
A lot of the game seems to require the use of stealth, with Elysium Game Studio stating they took inspiration from games such as The Last of Us and Metal Gear Solid.
During your investigations, you will need to make difficult decisions that have consequences for yourself, other characters, and the story.
Those dilemmas and questionable choices will shape your character, and so too will your abilities that will decide your playstyle.
You can make the game your own by choosing shooter, stealth, or RPG-style abilities.
Shadow of Conspiracy: Section 2 seems to be a game to experience and play, which is probably how next-generation games should be.
