Capcom has previously announced the next-gen upgrade for Resident Evil 3, but it is yet to announce when it will become available on PS5 and Xbox Series.
But it looks like its release will be coming soon, as PEGI has already rated the games for both platforms.

The website also shows April 1, 2022 as its release date, but it’s obviously a placeholder. This, however, could imply that the release might be coming soon — possibly later this month like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Resident Evil 3 is one of the three RE games getting a native next-gen update later this year, with Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 7 completing the list. The update was done using Capcom’s “proprietary RE Engine” and features ray-tracing, high frame-rate, and 3D audio.

On the PS5, the games will include DualSense support that uses the controller’s adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.
Resident Evil 3 is currently available on PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
