Remnant 2 is a Soulslike Shooter. Similar to other Soulslike games, every enemy in this game can pose a serious threat, and boss battles often lead to death. However, unlike most Soulslike games, in Remnant 2, you wield modern firearms, leading to entirely new tactics and playstyles.
A total of two DLCs have been announced for Remnant 2. Now, the second DLC, The Forgotten Kingdom, is set to release in a few days. In this DLC, you return to Yaesha, a place you’ve visited before. However, you won’t be treading familiar paths but exploring an entirely new part of Yaesha.
In Yaesha, you seek the vengeance of the Stone Spirit Lydusa. This spirit controls many other Stone Spirits, which are new armored enemies. Of course, there are also new equipment pieces to further strengthen yourself. The highlight of this DLC is the new archetype: The Summoner. This character draws their supernatural powers from the jungles of Yaesha. In a press release by developer Gunfire Games, it was mentioned that thematically, it will delve into torture, betrayal, and death, among other topics.
The new Remnant 2 DLC is set to release on April 23rd for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The price in the store itself will be €9.99, but I’ll show you a way to save even more. If you own the Season Pass, you’ll get the DLC for free.
