In today’s world, it seems that we are judged by how hard a difficulty we play our games on, and unless you’re playing on hard mode, you are somehow a worse gamer.
In Psychonauts 2, though, Double Fine has stressed that the experience of playing the game and enjoying your time in it is the most important thing.
And to reflect that, they recently released a few tweets explaining that a game’s difficulty should not determine the level of fun.
Completing Psychonauts 2 on any difficulty will be rewarding, with Double Fine promising that even if you use the Invincibility toggle, it will still mean you finished the game.
ACCESSIBILITY OPTIONS
In the video at the top of the article, you can see some of the accessibility options the game features.
The gameplay features are No Fall Damage, Invincibility, and Narrative Combat, and you are free to toggle these on at any time.
The gameplay options ensure that you can complete the game however you wish and means that you can continue the story when struggling in certain parts.
Other accessibility features include colorblind options, subtitles, text language, and camera assist.
