Finally, after a wait of over 4 years, Predator: Hunting Grounds arrives on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Released on 1st October 2024, Predator: Hunting Grounds offers a first-person PvE shooter where a group of special forces must survive against a Predator.

Predator: Hunting Grounds Comes to Consoles with a New Trailer

Predator: Hunting Grounds is a first-person shooter experience created by IllFonic and published with Sony Interactive Entertainment on 24 April 2020. In the game, a group of special agents must complete various objectives while a Predator, controlled by another player, hunts them down. Although the initial feedback was quite positive, the game has lost a significant portion of its player base over time.

However, the team continued to work on the title, releasing patches and DLCs over the years. Finally, they decided to bring Predator: Hunting Grounds to the latest generation of consoles, with a launch coinciding with the release of version 3.0 of the game. This version adds:

  • Improved Graphics: Utilizing the capabilities of Unreal Engine 4.27 with Ray Tracing, enhanced textures, and lighting.
  • Cross-Platform between PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and controller support.
  • The Feral Predator: A new playable Predator armed with a Crossbolt gun, Shield, and Combistick Feral Spear, making it dangerous both at range and in close combat.
  • Numerous Fixes and Improvements.


Predator: Hunting Grounds – Editions and Price

With its arrival on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 on October 1, 2024, Predator: Hunting Grounds is now available in 3 digital game editions, with a physical edition exclusive to PS5 coming on 12th November 2024. The game editions are:

  • Standard Edition: 19.99€ for the base edition of the game.
  • Jungle Edition: 34.99€, adding the Samurai Predator, City Hunter Predator, Viking Predator, Valkyrie Predator packs.
  • Yautja Edition: 69.99€, which includes almost all available DLCs, including Predator and weapon packs.

A launch aimed at giving new life to the game, with a new wave of players from PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game had good potential but faced strong competition from other first-person shooters and asymmetrical PVP experiences. Now, new players can try the 3.0 version of Predator: Hunting Grounds for cheap.
