If you’ve been thinking about getting a PlayStation Plus subscription but never done so, you should do it now as you only have a few days left before the massive price increase.

Sony recently announced that the PlayStation Plus 12-month subscription will get a price hike globally starting September 6, 2023. So if you buy now, then you’re not paying the extra €12 with the base tier, for example.

Here is a more detailed view of the tiers and the increase that will apply:

• PlayStation Plus Essential 12-Month Subscription: From $59.99 / £49.99 / €59.99 to $79.99 / £59.99 / €71.99
• PlayStation Plus Extra 12-Month Subscription: From $99.99 / £83.99 / €99.99 to $134.99 / £99.99 / €125.99
• PlayStation Plus Premium 12-Month Subscription: From $119.99 / £99.99 / €119.99 to $159.99 / £119.99 / €151.99

But if you have an existing 12-month subscription, you’ll still be able to enjoy the old pricing until a renewal is made on or before November 6, 2023. However, any changes after September 6, 2023 like upgrades, downgrades, or purchase of additional time, the new pricing will take effect.

Note that the PlayStation Plus price increase is only applicable to the 12-month subscription. Shorter subscription periods will not be affected.
