Phasmophobia arrives on PS5: New features for PS VR2 and Launch Date

With the anticipated console release, the Kinetic Games team shared on the PlayStation Blog new features coming to Phasmophobia, which is being visually revamped with rendering technology that takes full advantage of PS VR2. Featuring new Foveated Rendering for an innovative balance between graphics and performance, achieving 60FPS in 4K on PS5 base.

Meanwhile, on PS VR2, it offers 60Hz reprojected to 120Hz with a resolution of 2000 x 2040 per eye. Among the new features is a Tool Belt that holds up to 3 items at once, as well as Crossplay between PS5 and PS5 Pro. Players can experience all this on the launch date of 29 October 2024, just in time for Halloween!

Phasmophobia: New Price Announced, Save Today with the Lowest Prices

The popular Phasmophobia finally arrives on console. Following a delay after the office fire in August 2023, which didn’t discourage the team, the game has reached over 20 million copies sold since 2020.

With the console launch, the team has decided to update the prices on PC, setting the base price at $19.99/€ (16.75£).
