People Can Fly has been fairly quiet on the upcoming Worldslayer expansion for Outriders, but in a broadcast, they’ve given us a few details, including its release date.
Outriders: Worldslayer is the first expansion and will improve difficulty levels by adding 40 Apocalypse tiers.
With every Apocalypse tier, the game’s difficulty will increase, and in exchange, you will earn better rewards.
To go along with the new tiers, there are Apocalypse items that will contain a third mod slot when dropped, allowing you to further improve and modify your skills.
Outriders: Worldslayer will have a new PAX class tree and Ascension system.
The Worldslayer PAX class trees are new skill trees that you can invest points in through special skill points to increase your specialization skills.
Ascension is a max-level skill system where you can increase skills and stats.
Outriders: Worldslayer will give new players a level-30 boost and will add new campaign content, areas, and endgame activities.
Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a new class as rumored, but the Worldslayer expansion does add a lot more of that great Outriders feel you get when playing.
WHEN DOES OUTRIDERS: WORLDSLAYER RELEASE?
Outriders: Worldslayer releases on 30 June 2022 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
