In an official announcement on Twitter (X), the Red Barrels team announces the arrival of the Outlast movie. Partnering with Lionsgate, the studio behind the Saw movie series and many other classics. The movie will feature Roy Lee as Producer and J.T. Petty for the screenplay.

Two veterans of the movie industry will try their hand at bringing an iconic series of the gaming landscape. The Outlast series, first released in 2012, profoundly changed the horror genre in gaming. Offering a first-person survival game with a story that was as intense as it was scary.
