The map and the new multiplayer mode were originally leaked by data miners from the game’s beta. In a statement to charlieintel.com, the developer has finally confirmed both the map and the game mode, and also sent a couple of screenshots. These will be available once the game officially launches on 3 November 2017.

The new multiplayer game mode is called Gridiron, and it is inspired by Uplink mode from Call of Duty Advanced Warfare. With Gridiron, you will be carrying a leather football which suits the game’s 1940’s setting.

“It’s a studio favorite for domination, hardpoint, and TDM, and we think it could be a standout for the competitive season ahead.  Also, it’s a lot of fun for the new Gridiron game mode coming at launch,” Sledgehammer said.

Gridiron will be playable in the new multiplayer map which, according to the leaked information, will be called London Docks.
