Multiversus: Watch the New Launch Trailer Featuring Two New Characters
Multiversus, the upcoming online platform fighter has an all-new cinematic trailer ahead of its release later this month, and it shows off two new characters.

Multiversus, the platform brawler from Player First Games and Warner Bros., will be re-released on May 28, a year after being taken offline to improve performance. We have an all-new launch trailer that features some familiar and new characters.
The trailer features characters such as The Joker, Velma, Bugs Bunny, Iron Giant, Rick Sanchez, Stripe, Finn the Human, Cake the Cat, Jake the Dog, and Wonder Woman. However, we also saw two newly announced characters: Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th and Agent Smith from The Matrix.
Both characters join Multiversus as part of Season 1: Puns and Villainy content alongside The Joker, who Mark Hamill voices. Jason will be available to play from launch, whereas we’ll need to wait to play as Agent Smith as he will drop later in the season.
Multiversus will launch on May 28 after being rebuilt from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5. It will feature a new netcode for improved stability. The game will be free to play and include microtransactions, a battle pass, and post-launch DLC.
