However, sharp-eyed fans browsing the post in other language versions of the Steam page spotted something the English version left out—a release date. The now-edited description originally concluded with the line:

While this line has since been removed, likely in an attempt to preserve the surprise for the May 8 livestream, the accidental reveal makes one thing clear: Mafia: The Old Country is officially launching on August 8, 2025.
