The DON’T NOD team, creators of the Life is Strange series, is finally ready for the launch of Lost Records Bloom & Rage, the new adventure of a group of friends across 2 different timelines!
Lost Records Bloom & Rage is the new adventure from the Don’t Nod Montréal team, the Canadian division of the renowned development studio. Known mainly for the famous Life is Strange series, released in 2015.
With this new adventure, which recalls some elements of the beloved LiS, offering multiple endings based on our choices during the story. Taking us on a journey back to 1995 with an adventure that changed their lives forever. And 27 years later, confronting the secret that had been hidden until now.
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Release Date
Lost Records by Don’t Nod is finally ready for release, with dates that have changed from the initially announced ones. The game will be released in 2 episodes available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on:
- Tape 1, “Bloom”: 18 February 2025
- Tape 2, “Rage”: 15 April 2025
In particular, “Rage” was originally set to release on 18 March, but the decision was made to give players more time to contextualize the first episode, as well as time for bug fixes and other issues before launch. This adventure offers a formula closer to the Life is Strange series.
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Gameplay and Key Features
Lost Records presents itself as a narrative adventure in the style of Life is Strange, with some enhanced features added to the main experience from the Don’t Nod team. In particular, we will have:
- Story: The story will unfold across 2 timelines, one in Michigan in 1995 and the other in 2022. With choices impacting the story.
- Characters: A diverse cast of characters, where in the shoes of Swann, we’ll experience a magical adventure in the summer of 1995. An adventure that will forever mark the young band of girls formed by Swann, Nora, Autumn, and Kat.
- Dialogue: Our choices will indeed impact the story, with numerous dialogue options during the events.
- Camcorder: Swann’s camera lets us analyze past events, discovering new details, mysteries, or just for fun.
An adventure in the idyllic town of Velvet Cove in Michigan in 1995, where an event will mark the young girls forever. The group reunites to piece together the events from 27 years ago, all set to a Dreampop soundtrack, nostalgic and almost ethereal in tone.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – The Development Story
Bloom & Rage is a game whose development started in 2020, coinciding with the creation of the Montréal division, adding numerous developers from Life Is Strange 2. The first reveal of the game occurred at The Game Awards in 2023. Lost Records was conceived as a brand-new franchise.
With Bloom & Rage serving as the first story in the universe created by Don’t Nod. A universe designed to replace Life is Strange since the rights to the series remain with Square Enix, which handed the series over to Deck Nine Games, with the somewhat appreciated Life is Strange: Double Exposure released on 28 October 2024.
