Konami Celebrates 35 Years of Castlevania by Auctioning NFTs
Konami launch NFT collection to celebrate Castlevania’s 35th anniversary with Castlevania-based art, music, and gameplay videos.

WHERE CAN I BUY CASTLEVANIA NFTS?
The Castlevania franchise turned 35 on September 26, and at the time, Konami released the Castlevania Advance Collection on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Konami has now announced that they are auctioning off Castlevania NFTs that include items dating back to 1986 with the first game’s release.
NFTs are a source of debate at the moment, as companies including Steam, Epic Games, and Ubisoft share their thoughts on the potential of unique digital assets.
Konami states that this move into NFTs is a “new initiative to share content that has been loved by players all over the world, for many years.”
They and other companies are looking at the feedback from fans and the community to determine whether NFTs are a long-term financial solution for both companies and collectors.
The Castlevania NFT action takes place on January 12, and Konami has a list of items you can bid for on their official site.

WHAT ARE NFTS?
Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are unique, non-replaceable digital items that include cryptocurrency, images, videos, memes, text, game code, and artwork.
The most expensive NFT to sell to date is Mike “Beeple” Winklemann’s collage of daily art called Everydays: The First 5000 Days, which sold for $69 million.
