Step by step instructions on how to redeem a download code:

  1. Make sure the device (Wii U) is connected to the internet.
  2. Make sure the device (Wii U) has the latest version.
  3. To start, go to the Menu and select the Nintendo eShop icon.
  4. Then click on Redeem Download Code and then click OK.
  5. Enter the code in the field then click OK.

You can also download Via Web:

  1. Make sure the device (Wii U) is connected to the internet.
  2. Make sure the device (Wii U) has the latest version.
  3. Please go to https://ec.nintendo.com/redeem and create an account or log-in if you already have one.
  4. As soon as you are logged in, please paste your 16 digit code and tap Next.
  5. Please follow the steps on the screen to complete the process.

WHY IS MY WII U DIGITAL CODE NOT WORKING?

 

You followed the step by step tutorial to activate your product key, but it’s not working ?

Maybe you are facing an issue while entering your code on the website.

The codes should be 16 digit characters long, mixing numbers and letters:

1234ABCD5678DEFG

Make sure you didn’t forget any digit.

Another thing to check, make sure you differentiate: 0 (zero) and O, Q and D (letter), 1 and capital letter i, B and 8, G and 6, etc.
