Rockstar Games has finally released the first official trailer for GTA 6 today. In the third scene, we directly see Lucia, who seems to be the new main character of GTA 6. This article will tell you everything that’s known about her so far.

We don’t know much about Lucia yet, but right from the start, we see Lucia in a prison uniform talking to her supervisor. The only comment about her being in prison was: “Bad Luck.” This suggests that Lucia will break the law several times in GTA 6, making her an ideal main character for a GTA game.
Further into the trailer, we see Lucia robbing a store with a male accomplice and driving through the city with the same accomplice, holding a significant amount of cash. This, especially with her background of being in prison, implies that Lucia repeatedly commits crimes, making her the perfect protagonist for GTA 6.
The relationship between Lucia and the yet officially unknown accomplice, most assume to be Jason since this name was leaked some time ago. However, this is mere speculation. It’s immediately apparent that this duo works well together and understands each other beyond business.
Yes, Lucia is likely to be one of the main protagonists in GTA 6. However, this isn’t the first time a GTA game has had a female protagonist. In 1997, the very first GTA game allowed players to choose from 8 characters, four of whom were female.
Whether Lucia will have the most playtime or if it will be someone else will be revealed in further trailers, but so far, everything points to lots of action with Lucia.
Who will voice Lucia in GTA 6 is not yet announced, but fans have theories. Many speculate that Alexandra C. Echavarri Lecároz could be behind Lucia’s voice since she recently worked with Rockstar.
Though she has stated that she voiced Lupe, the warehouse boss, some don’t rule out that she might also be voicing Lucia.
