Ghost ‘N Goblins Resurrection is a new title under the iconic Ghosts ‘N Goblins series which first released in 1985. It is a 2D side-scrolling game which – again – features the protagonist Arthur who’s out to battle the evil Demon Lord and save his princess from captivity.

Resurrection promises new challenges, familiar weapons (such as the classic lance or the deadly dagger), and even new and unique weapons to add to your arsenal (such as the grueling hammer and the fatal spiked bullet).

Familiar Gameplay and Difficulty Await You

The series is known for its difficulty, and Resurrection is just as difficult as the other games in the series. To help you with your mission, you have a huge arsenal of weapons as well as magic skills like “Thunderstorm” and “Firewall.”

You also won’t have to face challenges alone, as you can get help from one of the Three Wise Guys: Barry, Kerry, or Archie. You can switch the second player’s characters anytime you want, depending on Arthur;s needs. This two-player local co-op mode is a first in the series, and is a sure hit for fans.

Wanted to switch up the difficulty? The game also offers three difficulty types: Squire, Knight and Legend. A special mode called “Page” allows  Arthur to respawn as many times as he wants, thanks to unlimited lives.
