Games Leaving Game Pass July 2024

Update July 23 – Wave 2 of games leaving Xbox Game Pass this month was revealed and although it’s always sad news, it’s still somehow a relief that only 3 games are on the list. However, considering that there is plenty of time still until the 31st, there’s a chance that more will be announced. Hopefully not but it won’t be surprising either. For now, check out these three before they depart or snag them at 20% while you can.

  • A Short Hike (PC, Console, and Cloud)
  • Train Sim World 4 (PC, Console, and Cloud)
  • Venba (PC, Console, and Cloud)


Original Publication – The first wave of games leaving Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Cloud Gaming were recently announced and some predictions came true. Included in the first set are The Wandering Village & Figment 2 Creed Valley which both entered the service at the same time last year. With about a year in service, some gamers expected these two to be on this month’s lineup, which we now know they are.

While it’s not always the case, highly-rated fairly-new game releases often stay just one year.

Here is the list of confirmed games leaving Game Pass on July 15, 2024, as per the Leaving Soon update:

  • Cricket 22 *leaving July 6
  • Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus and Butterfly
  • Toem
  • The Wandering Village
  • Figment 2: Creed Valley
  • Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion (Windows)
   

 

Cricket 22 will not be leaving the service with the rest of the games as it is set to depart from Game Pass on July 6 instead. This season of Cricket may be leaving but the latest one, Cricket 24, will find its way to Game Pass on July 9.

And for those after quick achievements, the fastest one to finish on the list is highly-rated game Toem. It has an estimated completion time of 6 hours. Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus and Butterfly isn’t also that bad with roughly 10 hours to finish. Considering you have over a week left before these titles leave, these two might just be doable.

As for Cricket 22, much like the actual sport, it will take a long time. Estimated completion time is 16-20 hours. If you’ve started already and not have anything to do for the next day or two, it could be possible. Remember it’s leaving in a couple of days and not on the 15th.
