Here’s the full list of games leaving Xbox Game Pass for August 2024. A total of 7 titles are confirmed to depart on the 15th & 31st as of now

Games Leaving Game Pass August 2024

Update August 19 – Microsoft just updated its Leaving Soon list, giving us the wave 2 of games departing from Game Pass. As published before and stated in its official Game Pass poster, NBA 2K24 is included. It is joined by Atomic Heart and Guilty Gear Strive which are all scheduled to leave on August 31, 2024. With these three, we are now at a total of seven games which left/leaving this month. With two more weeks to go before we bid August goodbye, this list could still be updated with more titles.

Original Publication – We’re two days in August and Microsoft is still hush on games entering Xbox Game Pass this month. We do have earlier confirmation of games and confirmed leaks but the official wave 1 list has still not been revealed.

Xbox is confirmed to take part in Gamescom with an apparent 50-title lineup and that could be a reason why, but that won’t happen until August 21 and that’s way past the wave 1 cutoff. So unless what we have now is what we consider wave 1, then we’re looking at a very short list.

But there is light at the end of the tunnel. While we normally get both games entering the service and the ones leaving mid-month, it didn’t quite happen that way this month. The former is still in the air but at least the latter has been announced.

As of writing, four games are set to depart Xbox Game Pass on August 15, 2024.

  • Offworld Trading Company (PC)
  • Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition
  • The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
  • The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PC)
   

 

For those looking for the quickest achievements, Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition is your pick as it will take only about 10 hours to complete. The longest will be The Texas Chain Saw Massacre with more than 100 hours in its belt. And for this game, there will be two separate sets of achievements for Console and PC versions. Both are set to leave at the same time.

Considering that the wave 1 of titles entering Game Pass for August 2024 has not officially been announced, there is a chance that this list could grow. So stay tuned and hope not!
