Update April 16 – The second wave of titles leaving this month has been revealed. Six games are departing from the service on April 30th. It includes Kona II Brume, meaning this month both Kona games will be out of Game Pass. Here’s the full list of games leaving at the end of the month:
- Have a Nice Death
- Kona II: Brume
- Sniper Elite 5
- The Last Case of Benedict Fox
- Thirsty Suitors
- The Rewinder
Original publication – While we get excited for April’s new additions to Xbox Game Pass (and rightly so cos they’re awesome!) we’re also faced with the bittersweet reality of saying goodbye to some excellent titles. As is often the case, the list is just as packed with quality games as the ones joining. So always check what’s on its way out before it disappears.
Games Leaving Game Pass April 2025
There are 7 confirmed titles set to leave Xbox Game Pass on April 15, 2025. Interestingly, one high-profile title that was initially listed, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, has now been removed from the departure list. The change came via an editor’s note in the official announcement, clarifying that Lara Croft’s adventure isn’t leaving just yet. Considering it joined the service back in April of last year, its departure wouldn’t have come as a surprise, but for now, players can breathe easy.
As for the games that are officially leaving on April 15, many of them also arrived or were re-added in April 2024, giving them a solid year-long run on the service.
Here is the list of the seven games set to depart Xbox Game Pass on April 15, 2024.
- Botany Manor
- Coral Island
- Harold Halibut
- Homestead Arcana
- Kona
- Orcs Must Die! 3
- Turbo Golf Racing
These titles will be unavailable to play through Game Pass after mid-month, so if you’ve been meaning to check them out, now’s the time. If you’re short on time though and won’t be able to finish them before they’re gone, Game Pass members get a 20% discount on all titles in the library. It’s a great way to keep playing even after they’ve left the service, so be sure to take advantage before April 15 rolls around.
