Frostpunk 2 – Sequel to Post-Apocalyptic Survival Game Announced
11 Bit Studios, developers of Frostpunk, have announced Frostpunk 2, revealing that it takes place 30 years after the original.

SURVIVING THE UNSURVIVABLE
The Frostpunk 2 announcement trailer is only 1 minute 30 seconds long, and it doesn’t contain any gameplay, but we see the familiar harsh, post-apocalyptic world we know from the first game.
Frostpunk 2 builds on the original and expands it, with even more difficult choices and larger projects.
The developers promise a game that exceeds the original in every way, and one of those massive changes is your city’s need to replace coal with oil.
That change in resources causes conflict within the city, meaning more challenging decisions for you to make as humans and nature compete for survival.
In a press release for the game, Co-Director Jakub Stokalski says, “What players should expect is a wide universe of choices, the freedom to shape the society and the city however they see fit – and reap the consequences.”
So, with the little we know about the game so far, it’s safe to assume that we can expect a neverending frost, harsh conditions, and conflict.
