Square Enix revealed an extended version of the debut trailer for Forspoken, currently in development for PC and PS5.
Square Enix’s Project Athia now has an official title, Forspoken, recently revealed through a new trailer.
Forspoken’s new trailer features actress Ella Balinska who’s best known for her starring role in 2009’s Charlie’s Angels, and is the voice and motion capture artist behind the protagonist Frey Holland.
The trailer also showcases some of the action you can expect in the game, including encounters, traversing the world, and a glimpse of its story.
As Frey, players will be exploring the fantastical yet dangerous world of Athia, using her magical abilities to survive and fight against treacherous monsters and uncover Athia’s secrets.
Forspoken is being developed for PC and PlayStation 5 and is expected to launch sometime in 2022.
For its PS5 version, the game takes full advantage of the console’s power, which demonstrates Luminous Productions’ philosophy of delivering a gaming experience like never before, combining the latest technology with creativity.
