Fallout 4 Season Pass: Buy It Now Before Price Goes Up

The Fallout 4 Season Pass will get a price increase by March 1, 2016

Even before its release, Bethesda has laid out its plans for the Fallout 4 Season Pass and other add-ons. On a recent post on their website, Bethesda shared updates on the add-ons they’re currently working on as well as details about the price increase on the Fallout 4 Season Pass.

Add-Ons – Automatron, Wasteland Workshop, and Far Harbor 

Automatron Allows you to hunt down evil robots (including the Robobrain) unleashed by the Mechanist. You can use their parts to mod and build your own custom robot companions. According to Bethesda, this includes hundreds of mods ranging from mixing limbs, abilities, armor, and weapons. You can also customize your robot companion’s voice and paint schemes.

Wasteland Workshop Lets you build an “Arena of Death” where you can capture live creatures. You can design cages and set traps to capture them. The creatures you capture can be tamed, or be placed in a face-off battle against other creatures, or fellow settlers. It also includes new design options for settlements such as taxidermy, letter kits, and more.

Far Harbor This add-on brings you to Far Harbor, a mysterious island located off the coast of Maine. You are given a quest by Valentine’s Detective Agency to search for a young woman as well as a secret colony of synths. It features the “largest landmass for an add-on” ever created by Bethesda for Fallout 4, new faction quests, settlements, dungeons, and new higher-level armors and weapons.

Aside from the add-ons mentioned, Bethesda announced that they have plans of adding more add-ons in the future – over $60 worth of them! They also announced that closed betas for each of the add-ons will be available for eligible players. You can sign up for the closed beta at Bethesda.net.

Those who will be selected to join the closed beta will receive a beta code. The closed beta is the full version of the add-ons which include achievements, so if you are able to participate you won’t have to purchase the add-on anymore.

And as mentioned earlier, the Fallout 4 Season Pass is going to have a price increase (from $29.99 to $49.99) which will take effect on March 1, 2016 due to their “expanded DLC plans”.

If you have previously purchased the Fallout 4 Season Pass (or if you purchase it before March 1, 2016), you will get all $60 worth of content for the original price of $29.99.
