Exoprimal: New Multiplayer Game with Dinos Announced

Capcom has introduced its new IP Exoprimal at the recent State of Play hosted by Sony. Exoprimal is a multiplayer game where a squad of five players (called Exofighters) in mechanized combat armor Exosuits battle dinosaurs who are threatening human existence.
Each squad must be able to effectively think which Exosuits to bring in the battlefield, and that they’re ready to face anything — even other squads in Exosuits.
Each of the Exosuits in the game has specific roles during combat, like unleashing force with assault weapons (Deadeye Exosuit), carving a path through dinos (Zephyr Exosuit), holding off swarms of enemies with a massive shield (Roadblock Exosuit), and ensuring allies are healthy and ready for battle (Witchdoctor Exosuit).
Players may change their Exosuit even mid-game, and squads can use this to change their tactics without having to leave the game.
Exoprimal’s main game mode is called Dino Survival, where one squad faces off against another while completing objectives. This mode will have them fighting off dinosaurs while protecting a critical point from assaults. There may also be times where players will receive orders in order to interfere with the rival squad, or even take them out right on.
Exofighters are guided by an AI named Leviathan. Its role is to instruct squads on their next tasks, predict where the next vortexes will open, and provide objectives throughout each match.
Capcom says Exoprimal will allow players to “unlock narrative elements and story threads” as they play the game, giving them more insight on its near-future world with dinosaur outbreaks.
Exoprimal is yet to receive a release date, but Capcom says it will be launching in 2023 on Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, and Xbox One.
