Wu Tang Clan rapper Method Man has been a long-time fan of Sam Raimi’s works, specifically The Evil Dead. With this in mind, the creators of Evil Dead: The Game reached out to him and producer Statik Selektah for a track to be created exclusively for the game.
The hip hop track, called “Come Get Some,” has music sampled from the original 1981 The Evil Dead score by Joseph LoDuca. Bruce Campbell’s vocal samples were also used in the track — he’s the voice behind Ash Williams from Evil Dead: The Game.
It also features Method Man’s son PXWER and U-God’s son iNTeLL of 2nd Generation Wu with additional production by Steve Molitz.
Method Man has always been a vocal fan of horror movies and Evil Dead, and he even had references in his lyrics, one of the notable ones being his “Dead by Dawn!” reference on “N 2 Gether Now” which released in 1999 with Limp Bizkit.
