FromSoftware has finally announced the release date for Elden Ring Nightreign, the standalone adventure within the Elden Ring universe. The co-op Souls-like will release for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on May 30, 2025.

Elden Ring Nightreign finally has a release date, with FromSoftware and Bandai Namco announcing a date of May 30 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. 

The upcoming Souls-like is a standalone three-player co-op game set within the Elden Ring universe, with unique heroes, an ever-changing map, and powerful bosses.

What We Know About Elden Ring: Nightreign

Elden Ring Nightreign is a unique take on the Souls-like genre for 1-3 players. Players will choose from eight unique characters with their own abilities before fighting through a poisoned swamp and procedurally generated map to defeat recognizable bosses.

While many may hold judgment due to the game’s three-player co-op gameplay, Elden Ring: Nightreign retains the fast-paced, dark fantasy experience that fans of the franchise have come to expect.

Closed Beta and Testing

Fans who signed up to test Elden Ring Nightreign can participate in a beta from February 14 to February 16. This beta will be available exclusively on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The full game will launch on May 30, 2025, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Throughout the beta test, players can select from four of the eight heroes available at launch. In teams of three, there will be a chance to try the game’s parkour and unique team-based fighting as you go up against bosses.
