Elden Ring: Can My PC Run It?
Elden Ring releases on 25 February, and there has been a little bit of confusion surrounding the system requirements on PC. So, can your PC run Elden Ring?

WHAT ARE THE ELDEN RING MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS?
As the Elden Ring release date nears, many are confused with the game’s system requirements.
FromSoftware has removed them from the game’s Steam store page numerous times, only to re-upload them again.
Currently, the Elden Ring system requirements are available, and although they don’t show us anything too demanding, you will need quite a bit of RAM.
Elden Ring PC Minimum System Requirements:
- OS: Windows 10
- Processor: INTEL CORE I5-8400 or AMD RYZEN 3 3300X
- Memory: 12 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1060 3 GB or AMD RADEON RX 580 4 GB
- Memory: 12 GB RAM
- DirectX: Version 12
Elden Ring PC Recommended System Requirements:
- OS: Windows 10/11
- Processor: INTEL CORE I7-8700K or AMD RYZEN 5 3600X
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1070 8 GB or AMD RADEON RX VEGA 56 8 GB
- DirectX: Version 12
As you can see from the PC minimum system requirements, Elden Ring will require at least 12 GB of RAM, with similar games commonly only requiring 8 GB.
That may put many using a budget PC in a bit of trouble, but otherwise, an Intel Core i5-8400 and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 isn’t too bad.
As for the Elden Ring recommended PC system requirements, the game’s Steam page states you will need an i7-8700K and a GeForce GTX 1070 with 16 GB RAM.
What isn’t clear from the system requirements is just what settings you can expect when playing the game.
Fromsoftware is yet to reveal what frame rates, graphics, and performance the minimum and recommended system specs will give us.
For the best frame rates and graphics, it’s more than likely you will need better than the recommended system requirements.
