EA REMOVES RUSSIAN TEAMS FROM ESPORT TOURNAMENTS
EA has followed other developers and publishers to ban Russian teams from entering their esport events.

The ban extends to Russian players and teams for Apex Legends and FIFA 22 and includes players and teams in Belarus – who are allied with Russia in the war in Ukraine.
EA follows Ubisoft, who have also suspended the Rainbow Six: Siege Pro League and banned all Russian teams from entering other Ubisoft-organized events.

EA has also taken the step to suspend all digital content, games, and virtual currency sales in Russia and Belarus.
EA said in a statement that they “join so many voices around the world in calling for peace and an end to the invasion.”
