An intense new trailer for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach was just dropped, confirming that the game will launch exclusively on PlayStation 5 on June 26, 2025. Much like its predecessor, the sequel is a PlayStation exclusive at launch, with no official word on whether it will come to other platforms.

For the first Death Stranding, it took some time, but eventually, the game made its way to PC and, more recently, to Xbox Series X|S. While nothing is confirmed yet, it’s widely expected that Death Stranding 2 will follow a similar path.
In addition to the release date, the trailer also revealed different editions of the game and the preorder bonuses included. Most notably, players who purchase the Collector’s Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition will get 48-hour early access, allowing them to start playing on June 24, 2025.
