With news arriving on 30 July 2024, the Torn Banner Studios team announces the end of new content for Chivalry 2. They thanked the community for their support and analyzed the latest updates to their game, the first-person melee-based multiplayer.


Chivalry 2 – The Final Update

In a post on the official Chivalry 2 blog, the Torn Banner team announced the conclusion of the update cycle for their medieval-themed game. They stated that with the 11th Update, Regicide, the team has concluded the story and final clash between Argon II (Agatha) and Malric (Mason) on the Citadel map. The tenth update, Duel of the Fêtes, introduced features such as unofficial servers and team balancing based on skill groups. These additions will likely help maintain community interest.

Chivalry 2 – Continued Support Confirmed

Torn Banner Studios, while satisfied with the level of content available for Chivalry 2, emphasizes that the team will continue to support the title. They will maintain the official servers, even after 3 years (or 2 on Steam), and will address any major issues that may affect players. However, not everyone has welcomed this news, with some pointing out existing bugs and how Tenosia, the third faction, still lacks detailed care and content.

In short, the team has decided to move on from their first-person medieval multiplayer game and focus on their next project. Unfortunately for fans of the series, it won’t be Chivalry 3 but rather No More Room in Hell 2.
