Sledgehammer Games has finally unveiled the newest Call of Duty game, and it’s set during World War II. The developer promises to bring a single-player campaign that’s inspired by historical events, plus a multiplayer mode. Of course, it will also be integrated with Warzone and Zombies.
What’s in COD: Vanguard’s Single-Player Campaign?
The single-player campaign revolves on the story of the Special Forces and its origins. The story will be told from multiple POVs, with characters inspired by real-life personalities like Lt. Polina Petrova who’s based from Soviet sniper Lyudmila “Lady Death” Pavlichenko.

What is in Vanguard’s multiplayer?
Vanguard’s multiplayer will feature 20 maps when it launches as well as different game modes, one of which is the new squad-based Champion Hill. Zombies mode will also be included, and connects the story from Black Ops Cold War.

Warzone will also be getting a special treat with a Vanguard map, currently being worked on by Raven Software. This map will be an “all-new metaverse” according to Activision, and connects it with Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty Modern Warfare. It will also come with a brand-new anti-cheat system.
How much is Call of Duty Vanguard?
The game costs $59.99 for the Standard Edition, while its Cross-Gen Bundle is $69.99. The Ultimate Edition costs $99.99.
