A Japanese tactical RPG with a turn-based combat style, quite defensive as in the main storyline you have to defend your school against invading monsters (cute, but not so cute) for 100 days! There are real choices to be made and several endings, not bad for replayability. Quite original in its approach, and the art is well done.
Part visual novel, part turn-based strategy, The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- drops us into the shoes of Takumi Sumino, a teenager drafted into the Special Defense Unit after Tokyo is invaded. Over the course of 100 days, time must be managed wisely in order to be ready for combat while exploring and bonding with the other characters in the meantime. Decisions have impact and depending on the choices the game may take you down different paths.
The Hundred Line Last Defense Academy puts you in the role of a highschool student that together with 14 more is enrolled in a defense academy and must keep the school safe for 100 days. And no, it is not an online game, though it had been cool. Will you survive those 100 days? The idea is curious but not sure what will happen if you fail at day 99, start over from day 1? A part of that, the game has the usual anime look that all JRPGs have, so if you like the idea, go for it.
