Sandland is an anime action RPG developed by ILCA, Inc. based on the manga of the same name created by Akira Toriyama known for his work on Blue Dragon, Dragon Ball, and Dragon Quest. Play as the main character of the series the fiend Prince Beelzebub, leading a company of heroic misfit’s chaperone Thief and the fearless Sheriff Rao in search of the legendary Spring hidden in the desert.
SAND LAND offers a big beautiful dust bowl for players to explore to their hearts’ content. I found its story and its characters to be the main driver for my playthrough, but the fun vehicle combat went hand-in-hand in my enjoyment of the game. A great adaptation of a legend’s work.
Sand Land for Xbox Series X|S not only does a great job bringing one of Akira Toriyama’s arguably lesser-known works to life, but is also a lovely way to say goodbye to a man who has had an incredibly huge impact on Japan’s manga and anime industry as well as the world of video games. Although it’s not necessarily an evolutionary experience on the action RPG front, it should still be a fun ride from start to finish for fans of the genre and source material.

Sand Land is a game from Toriyama’s imagination, set in a dystopian desert world that might be a little like Mad Max in spirit, as there are vehicles of all kinds and the resource everyone is fighting over is water. Not so with the graphics, which are more cartoonish. The gameplay relies heavily on vehicles, and you collect parts to build and customise them, which is fun and varied. There are some weaknesses in the writing and the open world, but it’s still very good.
Inspired by famous Japanese manga, this action RPG is surely worth attention if you’re fan of the series. In the game we take a role of Beelzebub, who sett off on the journey through the desert with his loyal companions Rao, Thief and Ann. While the walk is quite long, there are plenty vehicles that we can use to move more quickly. More than that, they can be customized and even used in combat. Overall, the game is beautiful and captivating.

Sand Land is a peculiar action RPG with great emphasis on vehicles and their customization. Create and maneuver different types of tanks, bikes or bots and customize their weapons, engines and much more. Explore an arid desert, discover secrets, meet its inhabitants and beware of enemies that will try to stop you from finding the Legendary Spring. Spino is a city in this game that you can use as base and develop it to unlock new features and stronger equipment.
Sand Land takes place in the world crated by Akira Toriyama where you play as Beelzebub, a fiend prince, and you’ll have to gather a party of companions, with their peculiarities, to try to find an spring in the middle of the desert. And of course it won’t happen without having to fight the bad guys. Game is a 3rd person adventure with customizable combat machines and a world created in cell shading that looks really pretty and give justice to the creator’s designs.
