• The Woodland Alliance operates on the principle that the wood belongs to the people. Slow to start but a force to be reckoned with in the late game, they excel in guerrilla warfare. Place sympathy tokens strategically to gain the support of forest creatures, scoring victory points. Utilize supporters for peaceful or violent ends, inciting rebellions and establishing bases to strengthen your military might.
• The proud Eyrie Dynasties aim to reclaim their ancient birthright, relying on capturing territory and building Roosts. With leaders bringing unique specialties, choose the right leader at the right time to secure victory. However, the Eyrie must carefully balance expansion with their Decree, a set of mandated actions that, if unfulfilled, may plunge them into turmoil.
• As the Marquise de Cat, seize control of the woodland with a clever mix of engineering and logistics. Construct a formidable war machine by strategically situating Workshops, Sawmills, and Recruiters to secure victory points. But tread carefully, for stretching resources too thin may jeopardize your dominance. Sustain a robust Wood economy to ensure ongoing construction and undisputed rule over the forest.

Root Digital is another phenomenal adaptation that I have just scratched the surface of. The game has lowered the barrier of entry for many fans, and there are hours of fun challenges that I will enjoy continuing to explore. With a few small tweaks from the developer, this could be one of the best digital board games on the market.
