A medieval MMO with clans, roles, base building and combat that released in Early Access a few days ago. Pax Dei is a social sandbox game and the content is very limited at the moment, you can join a clan, claim land and explore the world for resources and enemies to fight. The game will probably be subscription based in the future and it’s safest to wait a bit for more updates before buying due to the high price.
What looked like a promising MMO, turned out to be a half-baked sandbox with plenty of room for improvement. Pax Dei was released way too fast, even by Early Access standards. It’s hard to give any feedback for now because I think that the developers might add more features in the future to change the fate. For the time being, this medieval game looks nice but it really needs updates so it will be fun to explore, build, and engage in combat.
Pax Dei is a massive MMO that reminds a lot of Life is Feudal. Grind your way from nobody to a full craftsman, warrior, trader, farmer or whatever you decide to be in this game that will mimic a medieval virtual world with cities and a society controlled by players. Premise sounds good, and visually the game looks incredible using Unreal 5. A little problem may be the fact that you pay real money for plots of land, more char acer slots or cosmetics, not a big fan of this way of monetization
