Maquette is a first-person indie recursive puzzle game developed by Graceful Decay, taking you into a world where every building, plant, and object is simultaneously tiny and very huge. Watch as the world twists into itself recursively like an MC Escher painting.

• Go to the center of the map and you will become a giant towering over buildings and walls.
• Venture further out from the center and you will become smaller and smaller to the point that the cracks on the ground become dangerous chasms.

Yes, some puzzles were weaker than others, but those issues felt secondary to the masterful tapestry being painted before my eyes. Maquette is a poignant and rewarding experience that reminded me of some of my happiest moments, it forced me to stare straight at sorrow and simultaneously reassured me that it’s okay to feel that pain.
