In Luigi’s Mansion 3, you arrive at the haunted hotel, where each floor has its own style. While the gameplay remains similar to the previous entry of the series, it also has new movements and features, such as catching ghosts. It’s a good family-friendly game to play online or in local multiplayer, but going solo is fun as well.
Luigi embarks on mission to a haunted hotel to save his friends, use a vast array of tools and abilities to defeat ghosts and explore the multiple floors to find secrets and solve puzzles. Luigi’s Mansion 3 offers a 2-player coop mode for the main campaign as well as ScareScraper, an 8-player mode with time limits and different mini-games. Overall, looks like a very fun and complete game, especially if played with a friend.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 offers a solid gaming experience. It boasts diverse themes, imaginative bosses, and clever small touches that add variety to the main gameplay mechanics.
It didn’t get the notoriety it deserved, if you ask me, and that’s a shame! Luigi’s Mansion 3 offers a top-notch local co-op experience. Indeed, Luigi is accompanied by Gluigi, a double who disappears on contact with watery surfaces, but who has some really well-thought-out complementary abilities. As a result, the game has an intuitive and original cooperative spirit, and offers a gloomy castle world, with battles against ghosts, tons of secret passages, varied biomes, puzzles to solve… The gameplay is really, really fun. To top it all off, the game has a very long lifespan, a convincing technical achievement and a refreshing touch of humor. For me, this is the best cooperative game on the Switch.
Great game, like all other Luigis mansion games. I still miss the pictures from the first one, but still a good game for everyone.
