GTA 4 on Xbox 360 brings back some grand recollections! This game was a game- changer when it released, offering a massive open- world playground for mayhem and mischief. From cruising the thoroughfares of Liberty City to engaging in grand firefights, it's a nostalgia trip that reminds us of the good old days of gaming. It's inconceivable how a classic like this can still give endless fun.
We miss Liberty City, don't we? Multiplayer didn't invade the Rockstar universe back then. Niko Bellic, belligerent and disreputable, up to no good, who you played in a city torn apart by crime and corruption... well, technically it hasn't aged very well, but there's an authenticity, a certain nostalgia that seizes me when I think back to GTA IV. Less than San Andreas, but still. Some epic missions, like the shootout in Chinatown, will go down in the history of the saga.
GTA IV is an amazing game and one of the best Grand Theft Autos to date. The physics in this game are very detailed and polished, from car crashes to blood spatters and ragdolls. I enjoyed the story, the gameplay and the driving mechanics, which can take a bit of time to get used to. Despite missing some elements from the other titles like purchasing houses or car customization it's still a game I can easily recommend today.
Despite not being as popular as the previous installment, GTA IV has a few interesting bits of story and a more grounded reality as opposed to the slightly less serious and the definitely over the top take of GTA V. Focusing on the story of the Serbian ex-soldier Niko Bellic, he tries to escape his past of corruption and bad choices, trying to live the american dream in the city of Liberty City. Alas, his past will soon catch up to him in an action packed and story intensive game.
