Avowed is the new 1st person RPG from Obsidian, creators of the famous Fallout New Vegas and Pillars of Eternity, and it is in Pillar’s universe where this game takes place. You have to investigate a plague and to do that travel lots of locations, meet lots of NPCs, get new skills and fight all kind of fantasy monsters, so yes, it looks like Skyrim, but what makes this one special is the story that coming from Obsidian will be very good getting us involved into a rich setting full of secrets
Obsidian is behind Fallout New Vegas, South Park, Grounded, Pillars of Eternity… a safe bet, or at least one with potential! With a new franchise here, and the game Avowed, a fantasy RPG where our heroine discovers a universe teeming with life and hostility! We’ll meet creatures that will be our companions, and the combat will be attractive, with a mixture of guns, shields, swords and, above all, magic! I’m really excited to see what all the excitement will be about!
The upcoming RPG Avowed is set in the universe of famous game Pillars of Eternity. The future opus will feature a vast variety of weapons, magic spells and customization options, and it’s promising to deliver an intriguing plot. Although it won’t come as an open world game, we will be able to explore large zones. Let’s hope the game will be as amazing as other titles in the same universe.
