Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream follows the adventure of Sophie the Alchemist as she sets out on a quest to search for her friend Plachta in the dream world of Erde Wiege where they both got lost. In her adventure she also meets new people to help her.

• Features new multi-link turn battles with six party members that are divided into two teams.
• Combat is enriched with special effects and actions, including Dual Trigger skills where two members attack at once

When I started this game, I was not expecting to find the best Atelier game of its generation, but the development team at Gust has proven with Sophie 2 that they can learn from experience, leveling up in knowledge and skill just as the alchemists do to provide a more polished product.

Atelier Sophie 2 manages to synthesise old and new in a way befitting improvements to the franchise while leaving it comfortably with the rest of the Mysterious games. It doesn’t quite reach the heights of Atelier Ryza 2, but will still definitely keep most Atelier fans quite happy.

Deluxe Edition

The Digital Deluxe Edition includes a copy of the Standard Edition of the game, plus the following bonuses:
