You woke up and you realize you have no recollection of your memories. To realize and understand the truth of your amnesia, you find yourself choosing from five romantic paths, each having a world intended for each choice. With over 20 endings, will you be able to secure the joyful and lasting love story that is due to you, or will your life and love come to a cease?

• Pick one of five guys as your romantic interest. Take note that the guys will lead you to a unique story that branches out on different routes. Every choice that you make dictates the ending of your story which can result in 20+ different endings.
• There are various factors that can affect your relationship with your future love, so keep track of everything and make sure you’re not headed towards a bad ending!
• You can play mini-games such as air hockey and rock-paper-scissors with other characters.
• The gallery lets you unlock voiced images so that whenever certain areas in the images are clicked, dialogues about feelings can be expressed which weren’t conveyed before.

Reviews

There’s not much more I can say about Amnesia without going heavy on the spoilers, and part of the reason it has been re-released on Switch is so people can experience them for the first time. However, what’s important here is that Amnesia: Memories is a well-written visual novel, and in so many ways epitomizes the qualities of what you might expect from a “classical” otome game. For that reason alone, genre fans, and anyone interested in learning about it for the first time, owe it to themselves to check this game out.
