With all the negative atmosphere in the gaming community lately brought about by Epic Games’ controversial strategy of paying off publishers to release their games exclusively (in one way or another) on the Epic Games Store, here’s a bit of good news that may just make your day: Bethesda has assured fans that their upcoming titles will be coming to Steam.

In an announcement made through their official Twitter account, Bethesda confirmed that RAGE 2, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, and DOOM Eternal will all be made available through Steam and Bethesda’s own platform. They did not however specify if the games will launch on both platforms at the same time. They also plan on bringing Fallout 76 to Steam later on this year.

Aside from being a big win for Steam, this news also comes with great timing. Epic announced several new exclusives during the recent Game Developers Conference, including big titles such as Remedy’s Control and Obsidian’s The Outer Worlds. Bethesda showing support for Steam should help alleviate concerns regarding every big publisher eventually jumping on the Epic Games Store bandwagon.

But, just when can we expect these Bethesda games? RAGE 2 is scheduled to launch on May 14th. Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, and Doom Eternal all don’t have specific release dates yet, but all three are set to be released this year as well.
