Major Game Releases of the Week
Post Trauma
Delve into mind-bending puzzles and uncover multiple horrifying stories in Post Trauma, the survival horror heavily inspired by PS2-era classics. Set in a fixed camera style, players explore the Gloom, a terrifying space filled with nightmarish creatures and escape room-style puzzles. To escape, players must navigate the unsettling UE5 visuals and find clues that will lead them out. Made by horror fans who love retro horrors, the game features a fully voiced cast and even recommends a pen and paper.
Viking Frontiers
Viking Frontiers is a new first-person open-world survival RPG by BLUM Entertainment, the team behind Builders of Greece. As the leader of a newly founded Viking settlement, players craft, build, hunt, and lead expeditions with the game’s extensive survival system. While withstanding the forces of nature, a happy home requires a strong will and clear leadership, with the settlement needing laws, clean living conditions, and daily activities to keep people happy. Quests, random events, and the day/night cycle will keep things fresh as your settlement expands, offering new challenges with every small step of progress.
Tempest Rising
Inspired by 90s and 2000s classics, RTS Tempest Rising belends real-time base building with fast-paced, fluid combat to deliver an unforgettable experience. Take on the role of commander and select from three playable factions, each with its own distinct economy and units, and engage in various modes including Skirmish, custom games, and ranked multiplayer. The game also boasts two epic single-player campaigns.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Join Expedition 33, a group facing a grim fate with only one year left to defeat the Paintress—a mysterious figure who claims the lives of individuals once they reach a specific age each year by inscribing their age on her monolith. In this unique adventure, Expeditioners journey through a world inspired by Belle Époque France as they desperately strive to survive. Players can craft gear, enhance their stats, and engage in real-time combat featuring dodging, parrying, and countering.
DARKEST DAYS
DARKEST DAYS is a new open-world zombie RPG set in a world devastated by an outbreak. As a survivor in this fragile environment, your mission is to uncover the secrets behind the outbreak. You will explore a vast and realistic world using various vehicles, build a sanctuary for fellow survivors, and engage in intense multiplayer modes as you struggle to survive and see another day.
FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves
After 26 years, a new entry in the FATAL FURY series has arrived: FATAL FURY: City of Wolves. Prepare for a fresh way to experience the series with the new REV System—a meter that can be overheated before unleashing devastating, supercharged attacks on your opponent. The game launches with 17 playable characters, and an additional five characters will be added in Season Pass 1. Additionally, there is a single-player RPG mode called Episodes of South Town for those looking for a break from PvP.

I thought Clair Obscur was the only game I'd love to see this week. Turns out, Post Trauma is not less intriguing! Both of them have an eye-catching design and immersive horror atmosphere. Darkest Days can be interesting too, it somewhat reminds me of State of Decay. However, as it will be out in open beta, I bet there will be a lot of bugs and updates.
