Amazon has finally revealed its free games lineup for Prime Gaming this month. However, unlike previous months where the entire list is unveiled, only the ones which dropped yesterday were announced. Actually, there wasn’t an announcement but rather, an update on the Prime Gaming page.

This year seems to continue a never ending change for Prime Gaming. We saw the partnership with Riot terminated, the free in-game content/capsules disappeared, the drop of free games were only on Thursdays, and now, no monthly list. But as long as the free games are flowing in, members are still happy. To be fair, the games are getting better.


Prime Gaming Free Games October 2024


For the first Thursday of October, Prime Gaming listed 6 games up for grabs, one of which is a returning title. Scarf was offered as a free game back in March, so if you missed out on that or just got your Prime membership, then you’re in luck. It is a great game so definitely get that game this time.

Majority of the free games that were dropped are Epic keys, mixed with a couple of GOGs, and one downloadable via Amazon Games App.

Here is the list of the Prime Gaming Free Games October 2024 lineup which will get updated as soon as new games are dropped:


  • October 3
    • Tomb Raider: Legend (GOG Code) – valid until November 6 and must be redeemed by December 6
    • Spirit of the North (Epic Games) – must be claimed and redeemed by November 6
    • No Straight Roads (Epic Games) – must be claimed and redeemed by January 1, 2025
    • The Eternal Cylinder (Epic Games) – must be claimed and redeemed by January 1, 2025
    • SCARF (Amazon App) – must be claimed and redeemed by January 1, 2025
    • Hive Jump 2: Survivors (GOG Code) – valid until December 4 and must be redeemed by January 3, 2025


How to get Epic game keys for free?

Since the free key is an Epic Games Store one, your Epic account has to be linked to your Prime account to successfully redeem the game. Make sure you’re linking the correct Epic account as this can only be claimed once. Important to note that although this is a free Epic Game Key, it does not mean it is free for everyone on the Epic site. You can only claim this via Prime Gaming.

To redeem, just click “Get Game” on the game’s Prime Gaming page, launch the Epic Game Launcher, and then you’ll see the game ready to download.

How to get GOG game keys for free?

Although the free code is claimed on Prime, you will still need a GOG account as they are only redeemable on the said platform. So after you click ‘Get Game’ from the Prime website, head on over to the GOG code redemption page, paste the code you got from Prime, and click Continue. The game will then be automatically added to your account.

Being an Amazon Prime member not only gets you Prime Gaming but also access to a rotating set of titles in Amazon Luna. You do not have to have a separate Luna+ membership to stream these games.
